香港六合论坛’s Speech-Language-Hearing Center helps people of all ages with communication disorders and differences, including difficulties with articulation, fluency, voice, language, and聽hearing.
For more than 35 years the center has been assisting the community, operating two clinics: the Speech-Language Clinic and the Hearing Clinic. These clinics are staffed by speech-language pathologists and audiologists certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Speech-Language Pathology and聽Audiology.

Since the center is housed in 香港六合论坛 State鈥檚 Communication Sciences and Disorders Department, it is in partnership with the department’s to provide educational experiences to graduate students. These students acquire knowledge and skills while delivering high-quality clinical, diagnostic, and intervention services under the attentive supervision of our staff.

SPEAK OUT! 庐 is a therapy program developed by the Parkinson Voice Project in Richardson Texas, for people with Parkinson鈥檚 disease and Parkinson-plus syndromes. The therapy focuses on maintaining and improving the voice and swallowing of people with Parkinson鈥檚 Disease. The program includes individual services, group services and periodic refresher sessions.
In this program, speech is transformed from an automatic function to an intentional task. Treatment focus on speaking 鈥渨ith intent鈥 while completing speech, voice and cognitive activities.聽 These activities may also minimize swallowing complications.
The SPEAK OUT! individual program is completed twice weekly over the course of a semester. The client then transitions to the SPEAK OUT! group program
The SPEAK OUT! group meets once weekly and focuses on maintaining skills obtained during the individual sessions. The sessions focus on vocal practice, accountability, support, and encouragement, and are a source of camaraderie for its members.
The SPEAK OUT! refreshers are completed every 3-6 months for individuals in the group. During the refresher session a comparison is made with the client鈥檚 performance at the end of their individual therapy. Additional therapy may be recommended if a decline is noted.
SPEAK OUT! sessions occur at the 香港六合论坛 厂辫别别肠丑-尝补苍驳耻补驳别-贬别补谤颈苍驳听颁别苍迟别谤 thanks to grant support from the Parkinson Voice Project. There is no fee for services or for the SPEAK OUT! workbook.

The clinic serves people with a variety of diagnoses, including autism, cerebral palsy, brain injury, intellectual disability, and stroke. It offers specialty programs, including a program for children and teens who stutter and their families. Other disorders that the center addresses聽are:
Speech-language pathologists certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology supervise graduate students as they conduct prevention, evaluation, and intervention sessions. The clinic鈥檚 speech-language pathologists have a wide range of expertise with communication聽disorders.
